What to Expect during Your First Visit

When beginning orthodontic treatment, our orthodontists and professional staff look forward to meeting with you. We will make a diagnosis of your particular case, create a customized treatment plan, and help you make financial arrangements that work with your budget.

Diagnosis

In order to provide a thorough diagnosis and develop a customized orthodontic treatment plan, our orthodontists use the most advanced technology available. Our team will take two types of X-rays of your mouth and face: panoramic X-rays to view the whole mouth and jaw, including unerupted teeth, roots, nerves, joints, and missing or misplaced teeth, and cephalometric X-rays to show the growth patterns of the jaw. We will also take diagnostic digital photographs. This information allows us to recognize problems we need to address for your treatment.

Treatment Plan

A variety of orthodontic treatment options are available. With your input, your orthodontist will customize your treatment plan to fit your needs and lifestyle. If traditional braces or Invisalign^® is an appropriate treatment for you, you may begin your treatment that same day. Impressions of your teeth will need to be taken to begin the customization process.

When you decide to undergo orthodontic treatment, our staff will work with you to create an interest-free financing plan that will work for you.

Financing Your Orthodontic Treatment

In keeping with our belief that excellent orthodontic care should be within everyone's reach, we provide interest-free, in-office financing for your orthodontic treatment with no down payment and affordable monthly payments. We also accept online payments with Visa^®, MasterCard^®, Discover^®, American Express^®, and Visa^® or MasterCard^® check cards.

Insurance Information

For your convenience, we accept and file most insurance plans. We will contact your insurance company to determine your orthodontic coverage before starting treatment. Be aware that your company's original quote is not an absolute guarantee of full payment. Most orthodontic policies cover 50 percent of the cost or less with a lifetime maximum coverage. Also, since most insurance companies make payments over the course of treatment, you may not receive full benefits if you change your coverage during treatment.
